Our
club's 28th annual International Night (2008) honoring
our Rotary District's Rotary
Ambassadorial Scholars with
Rich Carson, our District Governor and Hungarian Ambassador, Ferenc
Somogyi. This is the largest private international scholarship program
in the world! Our club has been sponsoring this program since 1980. See
the Hungarian
Embassy Web Site about the event.
We are proud to be among over a million Rotarians who offer "a helping
hand" and work toward international understanding, in almost 30,000
Rotary Clubs in over 150 countries. Join us for the interesting people
and conversation, exciting and important presentations, and stay to
participate in making a difference. Whether you are a visiting Rotarian
or just curious about Rotary, you are welcome to join us at one of our
regular meetings.
The dinner served at our meetings is $25, but if you are interested in
joining Rotary, you can be our guest. We are proud of our club, its
contributions to the local and international community, its dynamic and
interesting members, and its international and open nature.

Our Weekly Meetings
Guests are very welcome to our Regular meetings. Yes, this
does mean just come by!
We have speakers on subjects of interest and importance at nearly every
meeting. Due to the nature of our club, we have close-up and personnel
interaction with our speakers. About every three months, we have an
open meeting where spouses, families, and guests are invited.
To see news about our club, see our newsletters.
It is amazing the quality of the speakers we get that help us
understand our world. We are a small enough club that we get a chance
to satisfy our personal questions and have private introductions. These
speakers help us find new and important means of providing service.

Members of our club participating in our program which gives out
dictionaries to 3rd graders at local schools. This program is lead by
Alan Grant.
